How would you like hundreds of mini flying robots to clean your home, while you sat back and watch the television? That’s exactly what Electrolux Design Lab’s award winning Mab can do for you.
Mab, designed by industrial design student Adrian Perez Zapata, consists of a core unit and 908 tiny robots with microscopic wings that flap 100 times per second. The micro-bots scan the house looking for dirty areas and clean surfaces with a drop of solution. The droplet captures the dirt and bots carry them back to the core. Mab then filters the water, so it’s free of dirt and the process can begin again.
It brings a whole new meaning to phrase ‘let the cleaning fairies do it.’back to news
